Sadly due to the current situation with regards to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic that we are all currently experiencing, Hire-It Kidderminster will be closed as from 17.00 hrs on 24/03/20 for an initial period of three weeks. Obviously our priority has to be for the long term health and well being of our Staff, Customers, Suppliers and of course all of our friends and family etc. As per the announcement by The Government last night we have no real safe / moral alternative but to close as soon as possible which we will be doing as soon as we have moth balled the business. If we all adopt the same attitude towards this situation we all have a great chance of getting back to normal over the next three or four weeks.
With this in mind we do realise that there is an awful lot of equipment still out on hire with Customers, we have been busy this morning telephoning Customers to let them know what we are doing regards the situation many of which have expressed a desire to keep hold of the equipment that they have on hire so as to be able to do some work at home whilst they are off from work during this period. This of course is fine as long as any Customer that has equipment on Hire are able to keep the equipment safe from theft as this risk lies with the Customer as per our Hire Agreement, these customers have been offered a fixed term / charge. We may not of course be able to get in contact with everyone that has equipment on hire, that being the case please do not worry, if you are reading this and we have already closed and you are worried about ongoing charges please let me know by email of your intentions and I will make sure that we take action in this regard.
